Each instructor teaching at the academy has gone through rigorous instructor training and advancement to ensure only the best and most talented individuals are working with you on a daily basis. This training and certification is continued annually. For this reason, we are confident we can offer you the very best in martial arts instruction.

HEAD INSTRUCTOR - BRYCE E. NORTON

Mr. Norton has been involved in Martial Arts for over 13 years. He has helped run schools in Heber City, Park City, West Jordan, and currently in Riverton Utah. He developed the first ever "Martial Arts for Troubled teens" for schools in the Park City and Wasatch County School Districts. He holds black belts in Taekwondo, Gen-Jitsu Karate, and experience in the Shao Lin Kung Fu arts. Mr. Norton continues his training in Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Sport Karate. Mr. Norton has been a black belt judge for the nationally renown Excel Karate League nationals competitions all over the western united states since 2003 and received a plaque of outstanding service in 2006. Mr. Norton belongs to the world renown organization "Black Belt Schools International." This organization is dedicated to bringing out the life skills, leadership, and excellence that is so deep rooted in the martial arts. Black Belt schools international has reigning world weapons champions as well as many other world champions in Forms, Sparring and breaking.

Mr. Norton owes his martial arts knowledge and tutelage to Master Kirk Koskella and Master James Wholwend, (WTF American Championship Taekeondo/Hapkido), Marcia Mason (Peak Sport Karate, Taekwondo/Gen-Jitsu Karate), Master Lonnie Jacobsen (Splashing hands Kung-Fu), Shihan Carolos Ferrer (Utah Black Belt Academy, Taekwondo/Gen-Jitsu Karate/Goju Ryu), Brazlian Jiu Jitsu Master Pedro Sauer and Pedro Sauer Black Belt John Shibonis, Jesse Allen (USA Boxing), and Master Jeff Rose (Shao Lin Do Association, Shaolin Kung-Fu).
